We’re excited to share that we’re finally at the point where we can activate online selling at Market Street Creatives — essentially turning MSC into a “mini Etsy” where customers can browse and purchase products online.
This means shoppers will soon be able to discover your products beyond our physical space, giving you additional exposure and new sales opportunities.
What You Need to Do to Sell Online
If you’d like your products to be available for online purchase, here’s what’s required:
- Enable “Show Online” for the product
- Assign a weight to the product (used to calculate shipping costs)
- Add an online product description
You can choose to make some or all of your products available online — participation is completely optional.
Shipping vs. In-Store Pickup
You also have flexibility in how your products are sold:
- Products can be shippable, allowing customers to have items delivered
- Or set to pickup only, so customers can purchase online and pick up in-store
This is controlled by activating or deactivating the Shippable option for each product.
Commission Details
- A 20% commission applies only to products sold online that require shipping
- This covers labor and materials for packing and shipping
- No commission is charged for online orders that are picked up in the store
Timeline
We plan to fully roll out online sales by April 1, 2026. You are not required to participate, but we believe this is a great opportunity to expand your reach and increase your chances of making sales.
