As many of you know, Market Street Creatives has already been awarded grant funding through the Community Investment Fund, and we are now working through the process of finalizing exactly how those funds will be used.
It is a long process, but there is a lot of positive momentum around what we are building here at MSC, and we want to keep that momentum going.
One thing we would love to do is collect a few written testimonials from our small business owners that we can share with City officials and, when appropriate, with the State Community Investment Fund Board.
These letters are not required in any way and are not something the grant process is asking us to provide. We simply feel that hearing directly from the businesses that are part of MSC is one of the best ways to show the real impact Market Street Creatives is having on small businesses and on the community.
If you are happy with your experience at MSC, we would be incredibly grateful if you would take a few minutes to write something about your experience.
It does not need to be formal or long. You could share things like:
• What being part of Market Street Creatives has meant to you or your business
• How MSC has helped you reach new customers or grow your business
• What you enjoy about being part of the MSC community
• Your experience working with our team
• What makes Market Street Creatives different from other places you have sold
• Why you believe MSC is good for Torrington and the surrounding community
• Anything else you think City or State officials should know about what we are building here
Again, this is completely optional. We only want you to write something if you genuinely want to.
And just as importantly, if you are not happy with your experience at MSC, we want to hear from you too.
Our goal has always been to create an environment where small businesses can succeed. If there is something we could be doing better, something that has frustrated you, or an idea that would improve your experience, please tell us.
