Our first Comedy Show was a huge success – completely sold out and an absolute blast. Four fantastic comedians, great food, and a room full of laughter made for an unforgettable night.
As the show was going on, I took a moment to step back and look around the Seymour Room – packed with people laughing, relaxing, and having a great time. In that moment, a real sense of pride and accomplishment set in. We’ve all worked incredibly hard to get Market Street Creatives to this point, and Saturday night felt like a milestone.
Week after week, as I talk with customers, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. People truly love coming here — shopping, exploring, and spending time. But something about Saturday night took that feeling to the next level.
When we first envisioned MSC, our goal was to create an amazing place to shop, help small businesses grow, and build a strong community. Becoming an entertainment destination wasn’t part of the original plan – but it’s clear there is a huge need for it in our area. Seeing the joy in the room and reading the overwhelmingly positive comment cards afterward made that crystal clear.
What’s Next
As many of you know, we’re well underway with THE WAREHOUSE at Market Street, and we already have our first events scheduled in that space over the next month.
This new venue opens up incredible possibilities – from seated dinner-and-show events for up to 125 people, to large-scale events hosting hundreds. When you combine THE WAREHOUSE with the Seymour Room, the Turner Café, and our classroom spaces, it all serves one main purpose:
To bring more people through the doors and introduce them to our nearly 200 amazing artisans.
