The holiday season is fast approaching, and we’d like to start it off with a bang!
On Sunday, November 8th we’re planning a MARKET STREET CREATIVES Holiday Reveal, along with a food drive benefiting Friendly Hands Food Bank.
As with any MARKET STREET CREATIVES event, it will only be as successful—and as much fun—as we collectively make it. So, here’s where you come in!
LET’S GET MARKET STREET CREATIVES HOLIDAY-READY!
November 8 will be our official kickoff to the holiday shopping season. If you carry holiday merchandise, this is the time to start bringing it in! Whether you’re ready for a full holiday reveal or just want to give shoppers a little tease of what’s coming, we’d love to see holiday items beginning to appear throughout MARKET STREET CREATIVES.
Have some fun with your space, too. Decorate it, hang some tinsel or mistletoe, put out a bowl of mini candy canes—whatever works for you and your business. Let’s give customers the feeling that the holidays have arrived at MARKET STREET CREATIVES.
KID-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES
We’d like to have a few simple activities for the kids throughout the day. We’ll definitely have a Letters to Santa station.
If you have an easy activity you’d be willing to provide or host, please let us know. It doesn’t need to be elaborate! Decorate an ornament, make a pipe-cleaner wreath, create a holiday bookmark—anything simple and fun.
FILL THE SHELVES FOR FRIENDLY HANDS FOOD BANK
We’ll also be teaming up with Friendly Hands Food Bank for a food drive.
As a thank-you to customers who bring a qualifying donation, we’d like to give them a MARKET STREET CREATIVES Thank-You Bonus filled with special offers from participating MARKET STREET CREATIVES businesses.
This is completely up to you. Your offer could be:
• 10% off one item
• $5 off a purchase of $25 or more
• Buy one, get one
• A free gift with purchase
• Or whatever makes sense for your business!
Each offer would be one-time use and valid through January 31, 2027, giving customers another reason to return to MARKET STREET CREATIVES throughout the holiday season and into January.
Participating businesses will also receive a special holiday decoration/sign for their space identifying them as a Thank-You Bonus participant, making it easy for shoppers to find and use their offers.
